Why this site exists

Hi — I'm Chris. I made this because I spent a long time not knowing that the thing making everyday life hard had a name, a shape, and a way through. I wanted the page I wish someone had handed me sooner.

I'm autistic and ADHD, and I found that out fairly late — which reframed a lot. Alongside that, my own nervous system has spent a lot of my life braced: often frozen, sometimes revved up, occasionally at genuine ease. For years I didn't even know it might be stuck, or that "stuck" was a thing a body could be.

What's helped me has mostly been slow and body-based: somatic work, good bodywork and the co-regulation of an attuned practitioner, internal family systems, movement, and learning — finally — to go at a pace my system could actually tolerate. I'm not a doctor or a therapist. I'm someone walking this road, cataloguing what I find along the way.

So that's what this is: a free, honest starting place. No products, no accounts, no email list, no urgency. If it helps you take one gentle step, or find one good next thing, it's done its job.
